The Corporate Elite Rule

When our country's medical and scientific research communities publish reports that indicate that many of our traditional cultural-mainstream social justice positions on health and environmental issues have been radically wrong and that our country's cultural-mainstream citizens will need to make radical lifestyle changes to avoid catastrophic consequences the greedy and corrupt corporate elite get very upset because they know that they would loose a lot of money if the majority of our country's citizens were to make the recommended radical lifestyle changes. Therefore, in order to solve this "problem", they contact their bought and paid for republican and democratic governmental officials and their mainstream news media people and then use them to influence mainstream-denominational Christian bishops to brainwash the majority of our country's church-going citizens so that they continue on in their cultural-mainstream health and earth destroying ways. This is how the system works.

Mainline U.S. Christian churches are brainwashing institutions. The bishops of these churches successfully teach the majority of their people to follow a principle that Jesus taught leads to "destruction". Jesus said: "Broad is the gate and wide is the way that leads to destruction and many go that way". The bishops of these churches teach their people to basically conform to our country's mainstream culture and only take counter-cultural positions on social justice issue when they have asked them to do so.

And these same bishops know that if they were to take more counter-cultural positions on social justice issues, positions that would contradict the positions of the greedy and corrupt corporate elite, they would not be able to hold on to their positions of power and influence over multitudes of people's lives for every long. So they continue to do the will of the greedy and corrupt corporate elite. As do also the majority of laypeople and low ranking ministers. They do so...by blindly following their bishops. And this makes it impossible for them to receive a calling from Jesus to take more counter-cultural positions than their bishops have asked them to take. Therefore, they lack authentic Christian moral consciences, and this is how our country's greedy and corrupt corporate elite have been able to gain and retain the power to rule and reign over the majority of our country's citizens. And their rule and reign is leading our country and the whole world toward unprecedented health epidemics and an environmental holocaust that could destroy all life on earth.

Servants Of The Corporate Elite

We know that in the past our country's Catholic Bishops were radically wrong when it came to some of their social justice positions on issues. Social justice positions such as their decision to found and run cultural-genocidal Native American boarding schools, and in the southern part of our country a lot of Catholic Bishops owned black African slaves. This tells us that our country's Catholic Bishops can not be trusted to guidance us in the way of righteousness when it comes to their advice associated with what positions on social justice issues they want us to take. But that is exactly what the vast majority of our country's brain-washed priests and laypeople are doing. Our country's fallible Catholic Bishops tell us what counter cultural positions on social justice issues that they believe we should be taking, and then most of our country's Catholic priests and laypeople neglect to exercise an authentic Christian moral conscience by blindly taking only counter cultural positions on social justice issue that our country's fallible Catholic Bishops have asked them to take.

Our bishop's resent sex scandal cover-ups tells us that they are quite capable of being extremely immoral when it comes to hiding the truth so that church attendance does not decrease and their positions of power and influence are not diminished. So this should influence priests and laymen to use personal discernment when it comes to evaluating if they should take more counter cultural positions on social justice issues than our bishops have asked us to take. But the vast majority of our country's Catholics are probably already too radically brain-washed to ever come to a place where they would be able to use personal discernment when it comes to deciding their positions on social justice issues. Therefore it will probably be necessary to convert a large number of non-brain-washed people, people who can think for themselves (such as hippy counter-cultural revolutionaries and Native Americans) to the Catholic Church in order for the popular expression of the Catholic Church in our country to become something other than a health and earth destroying materialistic cult. A cult made up of people who serve the greedy and corrupt corporate elite.

Evidence indicates that our country's Catholic Bishops are committing cover-ups when it comes to their reasons why they have taken the positions that they have taken on issues associated with both the environmental crisis as well as a number of health epidemics. Imagine how many Catholics would quit attending church services if our bishops took care of their responsibilities and came out with counter cultural solutions on how to solve the environmental crisis. And then also imagine how many more Catholics would quit attending church services if our bishops were to come out with counter cultural solutions on how to solve our country's many health epidemics. If our country's Catholic Bishops were to take counter cultural positions on environmental and more health issues the number of Catholics who would quit attending church services would be numerous. Hence, we do not see our country's irresponsible Catholic bishops taking counter-cultural positions on these social justice issues. Or, in other words, we counter cultural Catholics see our country's irresponsible bishops, bishops who care more about numbers and pleasing the greedy and corrupt corporate elite than teaching their people to follow an essential Christian principle that leads to everlasting life, committing more and more cover-ups. If these serious cover-up problems are not solved in the near future our country's Catholics (not including a small number of counter cultural Catholics) will be responsible for leading our country and the whole world into, both, health epidemics that could destroy almost all of the earth's human population, as well as an ecological holocaust wherein all life on earth could be destroyed.

Apostate "Christian" Moral Consciences

In the late 1960s, a lot of us hippy counter-cultural revolutionaries asked our parents, grandparents and aunts & uncles if they would let us talk to them about our positions on a number of social justice issues. And when asked, they would responded by asking us if our positions on the issues that we wanted to talk to them about were in conformity to our country's cultural mainstream positions. And our answer was no. And then they would asks us: "Well then, are your counter cultural positions on the issues that you want to talk to us about in conformity to the counter cultural positions on issues that our country's bishops have asked us to take? And again our answer was no. Then they would say: "Well then we do not even want to know what your, unsupported by our bishops, counter cultural positions on issue are, and we especially do not want to hear any evidence that you think you have that would support those counter cultural positions of yours.

Therefore, we quickly came to the conclusion that they were following a principle wherein they basically stayed in conformity to our country's mainstream cultural and only took counter cultural positions on issues when their bishops asked them to, and that therefore they were brainwashed people who did no have authentic Christian moral consciences. We could see that they were blindly conforming to their cultural-mainstream denomination's majority opinion on issues, and we knew that Jesus said: "Wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and many go that way". Therefore we new that blindly conforming to any mainline "Christian" denomination's majority opinion on issues was a principle that leads to destruction, and that that was the principle that they were following.

When we received this revelation, it answered our question as to why cultural mainstream "Christians" were supporting a lot of civil laws that legalized hedonistic behaviors that were causing health epidemics, social atrocities, and environmental destruction of our earth's ecosystems, a problem that was hurting great multitudes of people at the time, and would be causing a lot of problems for future generations as well.

We could clearly see that they were erroneously trusting in their fallible bishops to tell them all of the counter cultural positions that they should be taking on social justice issues, and that our country's cultural mainstream denominational bishops, just like our country's cultural mainstream politicians, were making a lot of compromises when it came to their positions on social justice issues, and were doing so, because they knew that if they were to contradict the greedy and corrupt corporate elite's cultural mainstream positions on more social justice issues than they already were, they would not be able to hold on to their positions of power and influence over a lot of people's lives for every long. And they knew this to be true, because they knew that if they were to take more counter cultural positions on social justice issues than they already were the greedy and corrupt corporate elite would run smear campaigns against them and that would cause a lot of people to leave their mainline denominational churches. And because the majority of people who attended mainline denominational "Christian" church services on the weekends were "weak minded people who needed strength in numbers" they therefore knew that these "weak mined people" of theirs, people who did not have authentic Christian moral consciences, would not be able to take more counter cultural position on issues than they already were, therefore they knew that they would leave their denominational churches if they were to become counter cultural.

From our observations we came to believe that our country's cultural mainstream denominational "Christian" bishops were making a lot of compromises on social justice issues, compromises that were causing health epidemics, social atrocities, and the destruction of the earths life supporting ecosystems. And from our observations we also came to believe that not until the great multitudes of people who fill our country's mainline denominational "Christian" churches on the weekends understood the dangerous predicament that they were in, and then repented, would there be any realistic hope of solving the many health epidemics, social atrocities, and environmental problems that were destroying our country and spreading like a plague beyond our county into the whole earth.

And some of us present day Christian hippies are still trying to get cultural mainstream "Christians" to see the dangerous predicament that they are in, so that they will repent and help us put an end to the many health epidemics, social atrocities and environmental crisis problems that still plague us today.

Wahkon Minnesota's Sacred Heart Church Pastor (Father Ray Steffes) recently said from his church's pulpit: "Our country is a wonderful country". In the past it might have been justified for a pastor to make that statement. But now-days the new environmental science alone indicates that our country is not "a wonderful country". Our country's Catholic bishops have never believed in our country's materialistic culture, but not until the release of recent scientific reports did they know just how far down in the pit of wickedness our country had descended. The new scientific reports on global warming alone indicate that our country is an earth and health destroying culture of death.

New scientific studies have found that eating meat is bad for our health. And studies also indicates that raising animals for meat is bad for the environment. And studies also indicates that raising meat for food puts a stumbling block in the way of solving the world hunger problem. And because of inhuman present-day methods of raising animals for food, eating meat amounts to extreme cruelty to animals. And besides, people who have let God soften their hearts choose to eat what God gave the residents of the garden of Eden to eat. And God did not give them meat to eat. TOBACCO

In America tobacco kills 440,000 a year. It kills more than alcohol, all illegal drugs and car accidents combined. The Vatican has come out with a statement that recommends that nations should not legalize soft drugs. But despite the new science about the dangers of tobacco, the Vatican has not recommended that nations should stop the production and marketing of tobacco. And where are our American Bishops in respect to this issue. They have not recommend that our country's government eliminate the production and marketing of tobacco? This is a disgrace and crime against humanity.

ALCOHOL

In America alcohol kills 108,000 a year. 10% of men and 5% of women who start drinking alcohol will become alcoholic drunkards. And nearly 14 million Americans 1 in every 13 adults abuse alcohol or are alcoholic. Several million more adults engage in risky drinking that could lead to alcohol problems. And 1 in every 100 children born in America will suffer from brain damage caused by fetal alcohol syndrome. The demonization of drugs allows delusion about alcohol to flourish. There are 18.5 million people with alcohol problems and only 5 million drug addicts. In the Catechism Of The Catholic Church it says "The use of drugs (but, erroneously excludes alcohol as one of these drugs) inflicts very grave damage on human health and life. Their use, except on strictly therapeutic grounds, is a grave offence. Clandestine production of and trafficking in drugs are scandalous practices." American citizens who were practicing civil disobedience during the time when there were prohibition of alcohol laws engaged in clandestine production of and trafficking of the dangerous drug alcohol as a means to regain their supposed right to drink alcohol. And their civil disobedience was the major reason why, in America, alcohol is a legal drug today. The government could not stop the illegal use of alcohol, a mood altering chemical, so they made it a legal drug. Therefore, is it right for Catholics in America to buy, produce or market alcohol? Under these circumstances how could it be? And if it is, is it not then justified for people to engage in the equivalent illegal activities to gain their supposed right to use now-illegal drugs? Why are the drugs of colored people unacceptable and illegal and the traditional drugs of the white people acceptable and legal? The Vatican is imposing a blatant racist and scandalous double standard and principle on its followers. This is a disgrace and crime against humanity.

New scientific discoveries indicate that traditionally accepted activities, such as eating meat at every meal, smoking cigarettes, or drinking alcohol, can be radically dangerous to ones health but the bishops refuse to take untraditional stances on these and many other social justice issues. And the priests and laity are erroneously taught by their bishops not to take counter-cultural positions on issues unless they ask them to. Therefore mainline denominational "Christian" churches have become moral apostate "Christian" churches.

Environmental Campaign

"News from the National Council of Churches: November 20, 2002, Detroit, Mich. - As American cars continue to get fewer miles per gallon, a delegate of American religious leaders - carrying an open letter from over 100 heads of denominations and senior religious leaders from 21 states to automobile executives - is in Detroit today to launch a major national effort to get Ford, GM, and Chrysler to build cleaner, more efficient cars."

"This interfaith campaign represents an unprecedented effort in the religious community to push automakers to manufacture cleaner cars and members of tens of thousands of congregations to buy them. The campaign and open letter argue that polluting cars are warming the planet, contributing to causes of war, and increasing the burden on the poor...Because automobiles are having such extraordinary global impact, choices about what cars to build raise fundamental moral issues."

Many of America's Christian religious leaders are (finally) saying that it is a sin for people to buy and drive popular gas guzzling cars and trucks. I am happy about this unprecedented interfaith environmental campaign, but it is 35 years to late. For the passed 35 years, we environmentalist hippies have been persecuted for our similar anti-gas guzzling cars and trucks environmental campaign. For 35 years, we have been working day and night to persuade America's Christian religious leaders (and other elite cultural mainstreamers) to get down on the cases of a number of health and earth destroying industries. And finally, they are at least getting down on the case of one of these industries.

American"s hippies believe that America is a secular materialistic country and that most of the people in America who claim to be Christians are making a pretence of being religious but deny the power thereof. And we believe that these people's materialist money loving problem is the primary cause of the present-day ecological crisis. America is the world's biggest polluter.

America is addicted to oil, and America's popular gas guzzling cars and trucks emit a lot of unhealthy pollutants into the air. This massive release of pollutants into the air is similar to the detonation of a weapon of mass destruction. America's "Christian" religious leaders should have joined us, anti-gas guzzling cars and trucks, environmentalist hippies 35 years ago. If they had, we could have stopped the production of gas-guzzling cars and trucks many years ago and this would have stopped a poisonous massacre of hundred of thousands innocent people. But instead of taking a righteous stand with us they chose instead to serve the greedy and corrupt corporate elite of both the oil and automobile industries. They were no different than the poison-gas mass-murder Sadden Hussein.

CNN did a survey in response to the popular nation-wide article What Would Jesus Drive. They asked the idiot question: "Should religion play a part in your decision as to what car or truck you should buy?" Everyone should know that the answer to this question is YES. But 72% of those who were asked this idiot question answered NO. This fact is a blatant indication of how evil America is and how irresponsible America's religious leaders have been when it has come to giving moral direction in answer to the question: "How can we saving the earth from the present-day environmental crisis"?

In order to get themselves right with God, America's religious leaders still have to radically repent by establishing and then leading a campaign against both the earth and health destroying coal and nuclear electricity producing industries as well as the gas-guzzling housing industry. In addition they will also have to radically repent - by taking on the corporate elite of the big tobacco and alcohol industries - they will need to publicly advocate the prohibition of both tobacco and alcohol. Presently, they support the prohibition of all drugs except for two of the most addictive and dangerous drugs, alcohol and tobacco. Their radically hypocritical stance in support of the continual legalization of tobacco and alcohol is the primary cause of two major health epidemics.

Osama bin Laden is right, America is evil and its religious leaders are evil doers, not because of what they have done but because of what they have not done. In the past they have virtually ignored the health epidemic caused by gas-guzzling cars and trucks. And they are still virtually ignoring both the tobacco and alcohol abuse epidemics. They are in need of radical repentance.

Brainwashed

In the U.S. the greedy and corrupt corporate elite rule. They are the evil doers who are primarily responsible for America's public and private schools being brainwashing institutions. America's schools are set up so that the vast majority of students who receive their "education" in them are intentionally dummed down so that they will be prepared to work in the corporate elite's factories. The students who attend these schools are forced by the state's civil laws to leave the outdoor natural environment and enter into crowed class rooms for long periods of time where they are given assignments that exercise only one side of their brains, so that the side of their brains that enable them to think for themselves are shut down. The greedy and corrupt corporate elite do not want to enable a lot of people to think for themselves otherwise democracy will not work the way they want it to.

Only a small percentage of students who attend these "dumming down" schools are able to keep from becoming totally brainwashes. Therefore upon graduation only a few graduates are able to somewhat think for themselves when it comes to deciding what positions they should take on social justice issues. They're aware of their intellectual superiority and they seek positions in society wherein they will have power, money, and influence over people's lives. They go on to become politicians, news media people or clergy within America's mainline denominational "Christian" churches.

In their pursuit of positions of leadership within America's mainstream culture, the first thing that they learn is that if they are going to become successful politicians, news media people or clergy they will have to do the will of the greedy and corrupt corporate elite.

And when it comes to the clergy who are intellectually capable of becoming bishops they know that the laity and low level clergy have been taught that they are suppose to conform to the mainstream culture and only take counter cultural positions on social justice issues when their bishops ask them to. Therefore they know that they can make a lot of compromises when it comes to their positions on social justice issues, and they also know that if they decide to make a lot of compromises the laity and low level clergy will not even question their compromising positions. Therefore, they feel free to go ahead and make a lot of pleasing to the greedy and corrupt corporate elite compromises. They then compromise so much that they actually become morally apostate bishops who keep the brainwashing process going on so that their followers continue to believe that they, in the name of the Christian virtue of freedom, are suppose to support civil laws that legalized hedonistic behaviors that cause health epidemics, social atrocities and the destruction of our earth's life supporting ecosystems, a problem that is not only hurting humans and animals but will hurt future generations of humans and animals as well.

Just think of what would happen if the bishops of America's cultural mainstream "Christian" churches were to take a number of new counter cultural positions on social justice issues, social justice issues that were in opposition to the greedy and corrupt corporate elites cultural mainstream positions on those same issues. The greedy and corrupt corporate elite would do a smear campaign against the bishops and the bishops' followers would then become disillusioned and afraid to become counter cultural, especially after being accustomed and addicted to being basically conformist within America's mainstream culture. And because of this predicament of theirs, a lot of them would leave their churches and then what would happen to the bishops coveted positions of prestige and influence over a lot of people's lives? They would be lost. Therefore, the bishops do not take care of their Christian responsibilities and that is why our country's cultural mainstream "Christian" churches are in a state of moral apostasy.

In the 1960s, a lot of the youth started using other drugs besides the addictive and very dangerous legal drugs, alcohol and tobacco. And some of those illegal drugs had been used therapeutically and spiritually for thousands of years by Native Americans of many different tribes. These sacred therapeutic drugs enabled a lot of the youth of the 1960s to start thinking for themselves. I was one of those therapeutic drug using youth of the 1960s. After using these liberating drugs for a while we were able to see through the brainwashing scams of the greedy and corrupt corporate elite as well as through their puppet politicians, news media people and clergy. We then allowed ourselves, for the first time in our lives, to take a number of counter cultural positions on social justice issues - counter cultural positions other than those that our bishops had asked us to take. In other words we, at the time, developed authentic Christian moral consciences.

But when we went to ask our parents, aunts and uncles, and grandparents if we could talk to them about a number of our positions on social justice issues, they would say: "Are the position on social justice issues that you want to talk to us about the same as the positions of the people of our country's mainstream culture." And our answer was no. Then they would say: "Well then are your counter cultural position on the social justice issues that you want to talk to us about the same as the counter cultural positions that our bishops have asked us to take." And our answer was no. They would then say: "Then we do not even want to know what your, unsupported by our bishops, counter cultural positions are, and we especially do not want to hear any evidence that you think you have that proves your counter cultural position are the right positions for Christians to take." Therefore we knew they were brainwashed people who did not have authentic Christian moral consciences.

A friend of mine over the weekend was recalling her days as an idealistic child of the 1960s. Students sitting around the dorm, amid the water hongs, water beds, strobe lights and Che posters, listening to Led Zeppelin and Dylan, dreaming about remaking the world in their own image, trading nightmares about spying Big Brother and soul-robbing corporations.

"We thought America was being run by the corporate-military-industrial white male power structure." she said. ''We were certain there was a right wing conspiracy. We thought civil liberties and free speech were imperiled. We were suspicious of rich people. We had reason to believe there was corporate malfeasance and Wall Street was bad. We worried that the government was backing coups in Latin America. We figured the administration wanted to topple all the overwrought, self appointed messiahs who didn't know how to run their own little societies. We assumed that powerful people were rigging elections. We feared there were people who wanted to blast roads through forests and rip up the tundra."

She recalled all the old leftist tracts in the Nixon years about a secret government plan to suspend the Constitution and declare a national security emergency and round up people without charges, and that the oil companies and banks would plunge us into nuclear war.

"And now," she concluded with a rueful smile "all our worst paranoid nightmares are coming true. We wake up in our 50s and our enemies from the 60s have crept back into power. And we were the empowerers, because we've turned into the same selfish people we thought we were against. We forgot to be suspicious."

The times they ain't a-changin'. The passionate activists from the Age of Aquarius have grown up to be the new Silent Majority.

"Our young hunches are now becoming mature realities," said Bobby Rush, the Black Panther who became a Chicago congress man. "Yet we are paralyzed in the headlights. We don't know exactly how to react to the right wing trampling our Constitution and dictating to the world who their leadership can be. The American people have been scared beyond all imagination because of Sept.11. But now we are getting to the point where we can't use a library card without opening ourselves up to Big Brother."

Ralph Nader said the phrase he coined in 1970, , "corporate crime," is the new catchphrase in business magazines.

Three and a half decades ago, the mantra among young people who railed against capitalist pigs and government lies was "the fix is in."

"The fix is now institutionalized," Nader says. "When Congress won't double the SEC budget in the middle of a corporate crime wave, it shows that the system is irreversibly decayed. As Bradeis said, we can have a democratic society or we can have a concentration of great wealth in the hands of a few, but we cannot have both."

People used to be shocked when a member of an administration said that what's good for General Motors is good for the United States. But with the Bush administration, the sinful synchronicity of business and government is just a day's work, and nobody is reeling from the spectacle.

Some convictions of the lovebead era have been turned on their heads. The police are not regarded as "pigs" anymore. And given their woeful performance, the FBI and CIA are not seen as scarily omniscient anymore.

And it is not going to be so easy for women to get as much power and sexual freedom as men Alpha women, like Martha Stewart who got rich being an uberhausfrau, just the image women were running away from in the '60s - are crashing and burning out every day.

Those who came of age in the '60's and lived through the plum decades of the '80s and '90s gave up a long time ago on John Lennon's wish that they could "imagine no possessions" ...no need for greed or hunger in a brother-hood of man."

Maureen Dow expressed in her We have met the enemy and once again he's us article that the 1960s marijuana using counter cultural revolutionaries who, after the 1960s, assimilated back into America's mainstream culture were the "empowers" of our country's preset-day evil mainstream American culture. And in her article she said that the reason why these people were the "empowers" was because they "turned into the same selfish people" they thought they were against. And she concluded this statement of hers by saying that they "forgot to be suspicious." I was a 1960s marijuana using counter cultural revolutionaries who did not become "selfish" by assimilating back into our country's mainstream culture, as did most of the 1960s marijuana using counter cultural revolutionaries. And I have not quit being "suspicious" of the majority's way", its an essential Christian principle that most of our country's self acclaimed "Christians" have been brainwashed to reject. Hence America has become an evil hedonistic nation that proclaims that it�s predominately a Christian nation.

Hypnotized By Materialism

An open letter to Father Dave Gallus, a pastor of Wahkon, Minnesota's Sacred Heart Church.

Father Dave,

I recently read an article in Time Magazine wherein Melinda Henneberger wrote: In 1979, Pope John Paul II bluntly compared Americans to the rich man in the Bible story who is dammed for all eternity after a life spent feasting - contentedly oblivious to Lazarus, the beggar who longed for the scraps from the table. "It is not right," the pope preached in English at a mass in Yankee Stadium, "that the standard of living of the rich countries should seek to maintain itself by draining off a great part of the reserves of energy and raw materials that are meant for the whole of humanity." It was the pope's pronouncements on sexual issues - from birth control to homosexuality - that got all the media attention, of course. Yet John Paul never stopped decrying our "excesses of capitalism." Last summer, the pope lectured American bishops that their people were "hypnotized by materialism, teetering before a soulless vision of the world."

I keep listening to homilies during church services but I never hear you or any other Catholic priest preach what the late Pope John Paul II is quoted as saying in the above paragraph.

In the 1960s, a lot of youth, including myself, became very disillusioned with our natiion's Catholic Church. And did so, because we believed, like Pope John Paul II did, that the majority of our nation's Catholics were "hypnotized by materialism, teetering before a soulless vision of the world." Or, in other words, we believed that our nation's Catholic Church was on the verge of becoming an evil materialistic cult, and that most of our nation's Catholics were brainwashed weak minded people who needed strength in numbers. And that therefore the majority of our nation's Catholics had to be in basic conformity to our nation's evil health and earth destroying materialistic culture. And we also believed that because the majority of our nation's Catholics were in this type of "hypnotized" (or brainwashed) condition they therefore did not have authentic Christian moral consciences. And I believe that this pitifully situation has become worse over the last 40 years and that now-a-days the vast majority of our nation's "Catholics" do not have authentic Christian moral consciences, and that our Catholic Church in America has therefore become an evil health and earth destroying materialistic cult; and that it also greatly contributes to the impoverishment of a lot of people in third world nations.

My Catholic relatives have been listening to homilies all their lives and they still erroneously believe that all they have to do to be good Catholics is to basically conform to our nation's mainstream culture and only take counter cultural positions on issues when our bishops ask us to. So far, I have found that not even a lot of evidence that indicates that they are being called by our Lord Jesus Christ to become counter cultural influences them to do so. And the reason why they do not respond in a positive way to this evidence - evidence that I have presented to them - is because they have learned from listening to Church homilies that all they or any other American Catholic has to do to be a good Catholic is to blindly go with the flow of the majority of the people who make up our nation's Catholic Church. Its about being in conformity to the materialistic majority that is all important to them. And I believe that their pastors will not tell them the truth, because if they did, their pastors would become unpopular and their people would go to some other church and put their money in that church's collection basket.

All my adult life I have been following the principle that Jesus said leads to everlasting life. I have been open minded and willing to go in the way of the minority when there was evidence that indicated that God was calling me to do so.

Imagine that you were a layman and that you also followed the principle that leads to everlasting life and that you had received a calling from our Lord Jesus Christ to leave our nation's popular expression of Catholicism and become counter cultural; and that you were to prepare the way for your relatives to come together and do a special work for the Lord, but when you presented, over a number of years, more and more evidence to them - evidence that indicated that they were being called to a special counter cultural ministry - they did not respond because they needed strength in numbers and therefore did not have authentic Christian moral consciences (or, in other words, they were "hypnotized by materialism"), how do you think you would feel? And how do you think you would feel if you believed that the pastors of the churches where your relatives attended services new what the Church taught (including what Pope John Paul II taught about American Catholics being "hypnotized by materialism") but did not preach it because they wanted to be popular with their parishioners? I think that you would be filled with holy indignation, as I am.

I have been studying the Church's teachings about the fate of our earth for many years and I have come to the conclusion that what the Church teaches about this subject is not being taught in Catholic churches throughout our nation. Even EWTN is teaching doctrines of devils when it comes to this subject. I have written both an open letter to a person who appears quite often on EWTN as well as a booklet about this subject. Note: It makes since to me that if the Catholic Church in America is an earth and health destroying materialistic cult, or a church "hypnotized by materialism" it would not know and teach what the Church teaches about the glorious fate of the earth.
